This planning resource provides juvenile justice facilities with the tools to begin the planning process and strategies to effectively address key components of a comprehensive emergency plan including communications procedures, preparing to shelter in place and to evacuate, providing mental health services and medical care, evaluating the facility’s staffing needs, offering support to youth and their families, and many more.
