On behalf of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP), we are excited to share with you the release of the Developmental Approach Checklist Series. These resources are based upon the findings of Reforming Juvenile Justice: A Developmental Approach, an extensive OJJDP-funded report that explores recent advances in behavioral and neuroscience research on adolescent development, and the implications of this knowledge for juvenile justice reform. They are designed to help the field explore ways to apply the seven hallmarks of the Developmental Approach in their localities, to effectively align youth justice services with adolescent development.
